The Novelty

Located just behind The Monhegan House, at the base of Horn's Hill Road, The Novelty offers a variety of lunch and dinner items including pizza, wraps, salads and soups. The Novelty is the perfect choice for lunch on the trail. We also offer dinner-to-go specials during high season.

The Novelty attracts many repeat visitors with its wide selection of delicious, made-on-the-premises baked goods. For the young and young at heart, we offer Shain’s of Maine ice cream in cones, shakes and sundaes as well as "penny" candy.

The Novelty carries a unique selection of wines and handcrafted beer from a variety of New England microbreweries (off-premise consumption only). An ATM is available for your convenience.

The Novelty is also home to Monhegan's FIRST public high speed wireless hotspot.
